Dr Lee's Regrowth Shampoo is basically a mix of T/Sal and Nizoral, with the belief that salicylic acid helps to remove some of the dead layers of skin to allow ketoconazole to better penetrate.

I was thinking of just using a home version (and saving a lot of money) by buying T/Sal and applying it before Nizoral. Has anyone tried this? How has it worked for you?

More importantly, while both shampoos have some science backing them, is there any real reason to believe they might work better together?

I use T/SAL or Jason's thin to thick once a week and nizoral twice a week.

Same concept but IMO Dr lee bottles it together to simply provide another product to sell. High priced.

Yea I'm wondering if there is any real logic behind Dr Lee's reasoning for putting the two together....

Convenience and because people feel like if they spend more they get better results so why not make a profit from it.

I tried it last night... T/Sal for 5 mins, wash-out, then nizoral for 10 mins. It seemed pretty agreeable to me, although this being the first time I ever used T/Sal I have to say the odor is extremely foul. :puke:
