Not all kids have semi educated parents to push them in the right direction.

I was reading that immigrants to America (as well as Canada) are less likely to take advantage of social assistance than those who were born and raised here.

Being from a well off family just means more of a chance of being lazy, and quicker to accept hand outs.

True. My straight A friends have not problem cheating. I get C's and never cheat or copy, and rarely work in groups. Had my parents gone to college, maybe they would have told me to cheat rather than not turn in an assignment.
