1500 for dense pack. Measure it in cm², and multiply that by 50. Potentially you could go as high as around 80, but most surgeons won't do that.
Yea its probably around 1500 then. Pretty hard to measure the corners of your scalp by yourself for a variety of reasons. But I believe its probably about 9/10cm^2 on the left side and 17/18cm^2 on the right. Hopefully it stays that way. I probably won’t want more than 50graphs/cm^2 anyway.

Hi, you have to be careful with dense packing because of necrosis, I don't want to scare you but look up photos of necrosis with hair transplants and you will see why it is a concern. You want to pay for the best hairline specialist hair transplant doctor to do such a procedure to lessen any chance of such an outcome.

Looked it up. Looks pretty fucked. Looks like some sort of infection, are you saying that dense packing increases the chance of getting such infection. I feel like this is mostly avoidable from the way you take care of your recipient site after the hair transplant.

Extreme dense packing may increase the chance of necrosis, but the more likely outcome is that follicles will be fighting for the same (lowered) blood supply in your dht sensitive scalp areas, thus sort of risking their long term health.

I've seen on numerous forums guys lose their transplanted hairs over time, but I'm not sure if that's due to the follicles getting androgen sensitive again, or because there isn't enough blood flow to nourish them properly.

It is certainly an area that I would like to know more about, and one the hair transplant industry doesn't talk about enough (for good reason, if it were found to be true with conclusive evidence and studies, this would certainly lower their revenue).

Do you think this drawn hairline is age appropriate for some who is 24 to get considering they’ll have to maintain it with future transplants?
