Hey, do any of you guys plan on getting a concealed carry license? Most States have "shall issue" statutes on the books.

Not that hard or big of a deal to apply for one (i.e., unless you are in the left coast States). And, of course, it's impossible to get in the wonderfully honest politically oriented machine known as the State of Illinois.

To be honest I don't doubt Old Baldy is responsible and respects firearms. We just disagree on the balance of greater good vs individual freedoms.

I for one think paintballing my older cousin in the nuts is adequate to quench my man urges. :whistle:

I would say the impulse to shoot them at people is the greater problem.

Old Baldy might find this hard to believe but I am not a socialist and resonate more strongly with libertarianism. But then I sometimes would contradict myself, being strongly one or the other. In fact I would say either I have a political identity crisis or I have my own 'ism' which I've yet to name. Or maybe it already exists and I havn't came across it.

I think I'll call it "Eclecticism"
