I just reviewed the list of ingredients and can't understand what exactly makes this lotion special? I mean, there is Minoxidil, we all know it works, but at the same time, we can't retain gains for a long period of time without combating the root cause. What it's the magic ingredient?

Guys! I’m still here. Think I already mentioned on one of the last posts how I focus more on skin reversing damage from sun and cigarettes. When you age, the girls you date age too so I try to preserve youth as much as possible :)

I was more active on Longecity.org/forum though I gathered all the info I needed from there by now. The fundementals for skin aging remain the same. Don’t wanna hijack the thread, but if anyone interested I can make a new thread contributed to skin care.

Also I noticed that the more active I’m on here the more I put my mental focus on hair, forum and underperform in other fields. It happened to me numerous times where the forum became an addiction-obsession and I try to avoid it.

I still use the topical twice a day, drink green tea daily, flaxseed oil, heavy massage with fingernails with head down before applying the topical. and derma rolling twice a week and also rub my face with lemon and pour it on scalp during shampooing to get rid of flakiness and add glow to face/hair. Works well

My crown has almost completely filled with hair, hairline remained same, besides that nothing to update. Libido works fine, no dark circles.

Also regarding Ionny, he told me the bottles been ready for the past 2 weeks or more now but he’s setting up a website, he’s not so techy and you can’t expect a guy to leave all to actively post on a forum. He did the first batch as a test to see wether there will be demand.
He man if your topical truly works then you will make a lot of $..hopefully those that try it take pics and report back. Have a good one.

Cortisone is probably a big player in it. I’m not sure tbh. Honestly I think the weekly dermarolling is the main reason he regrew so much

You may be right.

I just found this thread. The guy has regrew small bald spot in his crown using Minoxidill foam and Hydrocortisone cream 1%. He said that he haven't had any success with Min before starting Hydrocortisone, but at the end of the thread he has stopped the cream (without explanations).

Some other info:
- Steroids are widely used in treating Alopecia Areata.
- Hydrocortisone can nicely reduce inflammation, so I think that's why that guy had good result.
- Be careful. Hydrocortisone can also cause bad skin side effects (which sometimes are irreversible), but it looks like it's pretty safe if you don't overuse this drug. Also, if you take other drugs you definitely should consult with your doctor before starting steroids.

Pics of the guy who used Hydrocortisone and Min. (Baseline)

Hydrocortisone works if one is having inflammation and can regrow hair. I was applying various steroid creams on my scalp from 2011-2012. It’s fun until one stops using them, that’s when hell breaks loose and I was shedding like crazy. If one starts with steroid adventure one can’t just stop with it and definitely not use it together with dermaroller… Also increased shedding after starting is common.

How often did you use those creams
Clobestol I was using for 3 months. Perfect regrow. When I was on it there was zero hair loss... But it was dissaster when I stopped. Skin on scalp become white when I was using it.
Hydrocortisone I used on and off for about 1 year. Gave same results but nothing commpare to clobestol.

I am currently using hydrocortisone 5 days a week and dermarolling once per week. I do not use hydrocortisone on the 48 after dermarolling. Is that ok in your opinion?

One of sides with cortisone is that it will thin skin over time. I notice it when I was using Clobetasol. My skin become very white in places I was using it. Hydrocortisone is much less potent so there shouldn't be any skin thining, but dermaroll may increase absorption and systematical sides with cortisone is also so, so. I think hydrocortisone is good as short term solution to buy time and find something better. But not for long term use. Clobetasol did do magic for my regrow, but I lost it all again after I stopped to apply it. One year ago I made a video on my youtube about cortisone, watch it.

Guys, I was suffering from bad eczema decades in my life and I used to use steriods to treat my flare ups a lot.

So I have plenty of experience with steriods used on my skin. My skin has been damaged by steriods a lot. It took a long time to recover it and some areas will probably never recover.
Main symptoms: thining the skin, ageing and skin loosing its natural ability to heal.

And the main thing is - steroids do not heal the cause of ailment. They only supress the symptoms. As soon as you stop using it, the symtoms will come back immediately.

I would use steriods again just in emergency cases (bad eczema) and for a very limited period of time (days or few weeks). Never for a long time treatment for hair loss.

Safer alternative for me would be Tacrolimusum, e.g. Protopic. Deals with skin inflammation and has much less side effects

I am sorry to hear that. Which kind of steroid was that if I may ask? Also, how do you know the damage was not from the eeczema instead of the steroids?

Your steroids that thinned your skin are much stronger than Hydrocortisone 1% every other day. My dermatologist said i can use it for long term with no issues. She says one you get into the strong steroids is when you start seeing those negative reactions after long term use.

My doctor said the same, yet I had symptoms when applying the topical w HC twice daily with heavy dermarolling. Like what @Luke777 mentioned, I had some wounds that weren't healing, and my skin became thinner by the feel of it. I stopped the topical, wounds were healed. Now waiting for a second version without hydrocortisone.

My advice for people who want to apply the topical with HC is to follow the directions and apply it every other day, and part between that and needling by a day at least, never apply it after needling.

Applying the topical right after needling is intensely painful btw.

OP the results look great and I wish you the best. Everyone else - I hate to rain on this parade but I am taking a break from my self imposed exile to say there is really nothing new here.

This forum has experienced massive brain drain over the past two years and it's incredibly sad. Older posters would have pointed out that hundreds (thousands?) of forum members have used compounded topicals that included:

5% minoxidil (in many cases higher)
Hydrocortisone
Tretinoin
Azelaic acid
Many many other things we thought would help

People have added cayenne powder. People have added raspberry ketones (which do the same thing). People have added keto and TTO. Nothing here is new. You can search forums and see people doing this as early as regrowth dot com days.

There have been dozens of minoxidil responses that have looked that this. Perhaps the tretinoin, hydrocortisone, derma rolling combo helped with absorption in a way that was lacking before.

There are some people who experience rapid growth with hydrocortisone. Whatevr had a great run with Alpicort F https://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/threads/whatevrs-success-story-with-timeline.101353/

He seemed to think it was mostly the estrogen but I always had a feeling it was the Prednisolone. Steroids can help but it's a piece of the puzzle and possibly not a long term solution.

Nothing else here is going to cause regrowth. Before you email this random compounder/friend and pay him a bunch of $ for something that might not get through customs, at least look around and compare prices with the places that have been compounding this stuff for years.

Was this truly a success story? I mean, I've seen the various posts by OP, though no response to the requester who asked for a dated picture (to ensure accuracy and not reverse chronological pics). Also, did anyone receive the "magic" potion from whatever country from the mysterious friend?
