Man, I feel your pain completely. There is one way to live a "happy" life and that is doing whatever you can to not compare yourself to other people. This is hard, and it takes a lot of work and will never be completely accomplished. But, when you care less, life becomes a lot easier. Your family will still love you. They are some of the very few people that will not look at you differently (unless they are a*sholes). I know, for myself at least, to eventually get through with shaving bald, which I will have to in the next month if I want any sort of summer AT ALL, I will have to go to my family to get me through it. Then, I will have to accept it in society. I know it will be hard. But, I look around me at everyone, and everyone has their flaws. A LOT of men in their late twenties are losing their hair. It f*cking sucks when you realize that treatments don't work. Just remember that today, tomorrow, the next few months or years may be difficult as hell, but eventually you will either settle for you baldness and survive, perhaps even do better than that with it... OR, you will discover a treatment that works for you, a new treatment will come to market (which in the next few years seems inevitable), or you can get a hair transplant if you're a good candidate. By the time you are 31, 32 you will have your confidence back and an entire life ahead of you.
