I got my hair back on minoxidil and then lost it all after two months on finasteride: is this a typical shed?

Yea it is. I use the liquid minoxidill 5% and swallow 7 drops in a capsule twice a day. Many do this on this forum already. It works.
Is there risky sides to the oral version? I also find it pretty wild that some people experience less sides on dutasteride...

I don't know if it's love Daniel...but at least a bromance!! I suppose we could go to Turkey together too for transplant some day!!

I have swallowed up to 25mg. All u may get is puffy face but in time body adjust and u get less swelling happened to me. Now i use 15mg in total daily and take dandelion root extract 2000mg a day and the puffyness is better I think. This extract removes water in the body.

Another new bromance blossoms on the forum. This place is magical. My ticket would say Madrid. I want to go to Juan Couto. You two turkeys can go to Turkey. :)

Can changing my dose of topical finasteride - specifically increasing % as I tolerate it - cause a new shed with every adjustment?

We'll drop you off in Madrid!

Any time you change your treatments, it can induce a shed. Sheds in most cases means you are actually responding well to the treatment so don't always equate it as a bad outcome. When should I start packing?

Start packing in 9-12 months! I'd love to find a transplant centre that charged $1500 just to get my crown a little fuller.... dermmatch I guess...poor man's hair transplant!

Have you ever tried using hair fibers like Toppik? I find that much easier to use. Never liked dermmatch. If I went to Turkey I would go to Dr Pekiner. I like his work. I got rejected by Erdogan.

President Erdogan!! Haha...he must love balding men

I use hair fibres. They're easy to use but I like the idea that dermmatch is waterproof. I never used it. Why don't you like it?

I heard you can get a very small transplant for $3000.00

Is the price that much better?

The dermmatch was like make-up and does not go on smooth or look natural. I use Xfusion hair fibers. I have a cowlick that has some diffuse thinning and with a few sprinkles it's gone visually. For $3000 and if you are a low Norwood you can a decent transplant in Turkey. The hair transplant Doctor Erdogan is maybe related to the President.

its my what if mentality...What if I get caught in the rain or something...? I use fibres and they work amazing! Also though I have limited time in the morning so Im trying to figure out how soon after minoxidil my fibres can go in

I'm thinking about writing a movie script for a bunch of thinning guys who meet on a forum and rob a bank to finance their group transplant price in Turkey.......you in?

But to be serious, bro, you have minor thinning, it just looks worse because you happen to have a double crown. Really, no need to get overly concerned tbh.

My baldness is a donut shape LOL!! I have hair directly in the centre of the crown but not in a circle around the center of the hair in the crown...... I've been cursed with a monkey's *** with a donut.... !!!

that's the thing: it is noticeable and it seemed to come on quick. From what i've been told, I had a very bad reaction to a medication withdrawal (benzodiazepine)

but you're right after 6 months on minoxidil it was not noticeable then it just became visible again before I shaved it. I think it was my finasteride adjustments

Hair fibres are q quick fix. Just wish they would stay in the rain.....the imaginary what if rain that never rained but keeps me up at night thinking that it might rain....the rain..the rain....
