lol i've heard of this before. esoteric politically incorrect knowledge. the main thing iirc was that its easy to overdose on, but actually does no real damage.
I was watching a Cobain documentary recently and nobody really acknowledges how he and many, many other famous heroin users, completely functioned fine in interviews. Often quick witted in his own way, and always comprehensible. In fact for a guy who used on a daily basis at least once, I don't recall ever seeing an interview where he was truly a fucked up mess.
Then we have the Amy Winehouse type who's self-destruction is way more noted, and put down to heroin addiction. However she was messed up on a cocktail of alcohol, uppers, downers, crack, and with no sane outlook on nutrition. Not that I'm saying Cobain was a dietary health nut but presumably he just ate a few decent meals a day like a normal person, Winehouse did not. She was dangerously skinny, mix that in with alcohol, crack and pills, and overall depression, and while smack definitely won't help, it was far from her biggest issue.
There's an interesting book by Owen Jones (ultra liberal cuck but it's a good book) on legalising, or decriminalising all drug use, just like they did in Portugal. They decided to move all funds that were put into criminalization into rehabilitation, and the epic heroin problem Portugal was facing at the time was drastically reduced.
I have the same stance with prostitution, for me it's completely obvious that by criminalizing something, we simply box those involved into being repeat offenders. If you've got a criminal record for drug dealing or prostitution, and you aren't allowed a normal career, how are you going to make money?
