Maybe this refers to an older statement from Intercytex. In their most recent investor presentation they outlined the advantages of their product over a conventional hair transplant. They described hair transplants as a “long, painful and costly processâ€￾. The advantages of their HM product are described as follows:

- Not limited by donor tissue
- Minimal tissue removal (approx. 120 follicles)
- Minimal scarring
- Minimal pain, bleeding and swelling
- Repeat procedures possible from a single biopsy

I don't see how they can offer their product in conjunction with a conventional hair transplant if they describe hair transplants as “long, painful and costlyâ€￾.
