I think it definatley does happen, and just look at the amount of guys on here who are obbsessive about their physique guys like CCS, and the standard advice that always seems to be offered "get a tan hit the gym".

Yeah if you're bald you just can't go to gym, it's always compensating for the lack of hair. The hairy folks can do whatever they like, they got hair, no need to compensate. I mean, c'mon, no one goes to gym or exercises just to be in shape and to look good.

It's like that if a bald guy tries to dress a certain way too. Like trendy clothes. I think bald people are expected to tone down their wardrobe and not be as expressive. There are definitely certain looks you can't pull off with a bald head. Bald people aren't allowed to be cool. It's like once you go bald you need to start wearing collared polo shirts and start tucking them into your dockers to let everyone know that you are conforming to your new role as an unattractive older man.

I'd prefer to be an average out of shape NW1.

Same here. My cousin shaves his head by choice and goes down the gym everyday and has got big muscles. Trust me I don't think he looks good at all but everyones different. I personally would prefer to be puny and out of shape and have a nw1 then be a bald muscle bound guy!

LOL! I have noticed that i've been dressing differently since i started to lose my hair. These days I try to go for the smart casual look, whereas before, i used to wear quite "trendy" and "cutting edge" stuff.

The only real benefit to getting jacked if your are bald is that it might deter some people from making fun of you (to your face) and if they do you can always kick their ***. Don't be shy, they deserve it.
