Beards are mostly a cope cuz ppl try to hide their shitty facial bone structure with them. If you have chadlite-god tier bone structure stubble is as far as you should go.
The guy above has good bone structure.

I think beards get a lot of hate from men who cant grow them (or men of a certain age)

He does. I think that's a limit where he is at, a larger beard would draw away from his facial bones. I can grow a full beard, but choose not to, as once it gets big it destroys my harmony.

I wish i could grow a beard like that. They look awesome in my
Opinion regardless but as a cope they definately enhance a nw2 - nw3. After that i feel they have the opposite effect.

Ive thick goatee area hair but genetics decided my cheeks would be bald with a few struggle hairs. Ah well...
I think if you go bald then the beard is also very helpful to stop you looking like a chemo guy.

Sometimes without the beard or at least stubble we can look like we're decaying.

People go a bit overboard with how great beards apparently are, 90% of guys use them to cover up weak facial genetics, or coping with baldness.

But baldness aside, let's not get ahead of ourselves, a youthful clean shaven or stubble look to proudly show off facial structure will always be superior.

And this is from someone who currently has a thick beard, but I dunno I just got used to not shaving and the itchyness stopped bothering me.

I generally agree. My beard is patchy so when I grow it out it looks pretty garbage in my opinion. If it doesn't fully connect and you don't have pretty good thickness, then I think clean shaven is better.

Also, I feel with really full beards, the guy is hiding something (obviously, his face :D), so somehow it seems like they are compensating for less attractiveness by hiding their face. I'm not really sure, I think a girl's opinion would be more valid on this.

For instance, to me Cavil looks a lot better clean-shaven than not.

Interesting. I never looked at men growing beards in that manner, but it makes sense. A full beard evens out one's face and compensates for weaker facial bone structure, particularly the lower half of the jaw. It can also accentuate less pronounced cheekbones which may otherwise be unnoticeable. I wonder if the modern beard trend is informed by this line of thinking at all, or if it's subconscious.
