In Defense Of Improving Your Looks (w/pics)

I'm quite reluctant to share these pictures as I know some people can be pretty cruel but I'll do it for the sake of knowledge.

There seems to be a consensus on here that looks are completely innate. That the cards we are dealt with are all we have and that's the end of it. Well, I disagree, in fact I go by Christian Dior's words,' There are no ugly women, there are only those who do not know how to make themselves attractive.'

The only difference is I'm applying it to men.

I want to show how working out, changing my hair style, and dressing better has changed my looks and even my facial structure.

If you see from the first two pictures. My body wasn't muscular and very much average. My posture is poor. My hair is dull.

If you note from the other two pictures. My teeth are better. My hairstyle is better. My body has more muscle and has thus strengthened my neck and my jaw.

These pictures are over three years apart.

The change wasn't really on purpose but I did start working out a lot more and I improved my hair a little though treatments and styling products.

I hope this can show that all is not lost for those who feel awkward or even ugly.

(one more picture to help show the change)

I'm someone who grew into his looks a bit later (when I was around 22, 23 years old) and being back in school now for the first time in a while, im starting to really appreciate the advantages to growing into my looks later in life. You fight to hang onto this sh*t when you've experienced both sides of the coin, not wanting to go back to what it was before. Going into debt for a transplant? Without a thought. I do think it's also pushed me to mold my physique into something many view as unattainable

I still get a surreal feeling when attractive women come onto me. It's weird being back in school after some time away. I never thought of myself as being the hot cool guy, but it dawned on me that I think I actually might be that guy in my program at school. The evidence points to it but it's just never how I viewed myself before, so it seems off. It's amazing how it seems to affect everything about my interaction with my classmates....now how shocked these people will be when I shave down for my hair transplant, that's another matter lol

In the last picture it seems you are not losing hair at all. You also have a nice face and your tattoos are cool.
If you lost some belly fat you would really look A1!

I hope you don't get offended by what I am about to write, but I think the state of your hair (which seems pretty good) does not make you the best candidate to imply, as you tend to do in most of your posts, that hair loss is no big deal.

This whole time I thought a NW2-3 at minimum was posting about his dating, and life experiences.

Do you have any hair loss? I see a full head of hair.

you are a good example of how average dudes can pull *** if they put themselves out there.

not a single photo with post nw2 hair

tall big framed with decent skill and average face (albeit a bit ugly, but a lot of bone masses saves)

From that photo posted before where you shaved your head, I actually think you look better bald even with your NW2. How ironic

As you can see in this picture from when I shaved my hair off months ago - I am around a NW2-3:

Its good how I tricked even hair loss sufferers. Its all down to a good hair style and a touch of toppik at the front.

(the picture is taking under harsh light so you can see everthing!)

It was just a good photo - its not that I looked terrible bald - its just that I put effort into making sure the angle and lighting were good. The reason I did that is because it was for a dating website but I wanted to share it on here to show that having a shaved head isn't so bad.

good haircut man ! are you currently on propecia or minoxidil?
Just minoxidl and nizoral. I took finasteride for a year and my hair loss didn't get any better during that time, and I began to find it harder to get the body fat down so I just quit it. So far its made no difference.

I'm lucky in that I'm experiencing hair loss slowly. I started losing hair at 21 and at 30 I'm not quite a NW3 yet.

I had mild finasteride side effects but they all went away within a few months after I stopped taking it. The sides weren't that bad if I was going to have all my hair back, but when it didn't work I no longer saw a point to continue taking it.

My hairloss tends to stabilise and then for a few weeks a year I will shed and lose a little more hair. I don't know if the minoxidl is working but I'm going to keep taking it because it doesn't cost much and I may as well.
