Lower DHT levels is probably what caused your decreased libido, duta inhibits way more dht as we know. Spike in E could cause ED but libido is normally the same considering the relatively small increase in E. On the contrary low E is when your libido dies entirely and you become asexual. You getting your finasteride/duta powders from wuhan HHD? Im trying to order some as well soon.

I just did some research on Duta and E levels and couldn't find much but Duta doesn't raise test and estrogen levels as much as SERMs such as Nolvadex do. I experienced high estrogen levels from SERMs before and the libido loss is not nearly as bad as low DHT or low estrogen. So you're probably right about low DHT being the cause of my problems with Duta. Also, high estrogen levels make me bloat up into a water balloon and I never experienced that with Duta. I took 0.5mg of Duta (1 pill) everyday for a week one time and I felt like I was castrated for literally a month+ cause Duta has such a long half life (something I didn't know about at the time).

Interesting you mention that. I got huge facial bloatedness after 8 months of taking duta, literally took 8months before the sides kicked in. I also lost half of my beard density, both happened at the same time. It is hard to say whether higher E was responsible for it though, as low dht does contribute to lesser bodily/facial hair and fat control (in some way). The face fat is water retention and idk if dht does anything about that, maybe it really was a sudden spike in E that caused it for some reason. Making me reconsider applying small dosages of estriol.

I don't know exactly how much of it was water weight, I stopped duta and went back to the gym after they reopened and within 2months lost 10lbs. I assume it was water weight, I have never gained weight before regardless of activity level so it would make sense. The face bloatedness was very obvious and it went away very quickly, within a week. I am now taking OM which also gives some water weight, nowhere near as much though.

I will also start taking eplerenone too, which is an MR antagonist and has shown to prolong the anagen phase more than spironolactone while having no effect on ARs, meaning no sexual sides. Still people find spironolactone doing more. Most importantly it is a diuretic so I'm really looking forward to get my skinny face back.

The majority of the 10 lbs you lost was probably water weight because losing 10 lbs in a week of fat is nearly impossible unless you starve yourself or are morbidly obese. Water weight is the main cause of rapid weight loss. I took a diuretic one day to get rid of some water weight and weighed 4-5 less the next day, face was a lot more defined.

I'm not sure what OM is? Oral Minoxidil?

I never knew that some diuretics can prolong the anagen phase. That's very interesting. I'm assuming you plan on taking oral Eplerenone and if so at what dose?

Hey Mustang, I saw a post by you on another thread about SARMS and hairloss prevention. I was curious if you ended up trying any SARMS yet and if you have what were the effects on your hair? I tried RAD140 and YK-11 before.

Also, your other threads give me hope that topical dutasteride will work. Currently I'm losing 35 hairs in the shower but if I could get it down to 10 that would be amazing. Fingers crossed.
