Have you considered using minoxidil? it can hold your hair loss for years before you need to add anything else

There really is no magic solution. DHT blockers, ketoconazole shampoo, minoxidil and microneedling thats about it.

The thing is I want to actually know what I have before I go about doing treatments to hide it. Like say it’s just Telogen Effluvium and I hop on minoxidil when all I had to do was wait. I’d like to find out. Is there seriously no way to tell the difference between Telogen Effluvium and diffuse thinning male pattern baldness? That’s what it’s seemingly like right now. Would a derm be able to tell somehow from looking at my hairs or something? Or could he closely examine my scalp and tell? I just took a shower this morning without shampooing but I ran my hands through my hair, only about 7 hairs came out this morning but I shampooed last night and got like 40.
