Is Microneedling Best With Topical minoxidil? Or Can I Still Get Good Results If I Needle + Oral Min?

Well. A couple of things. For one, for many people regular minoxidil either doesn't work or it works only for maintenance. In that scenario, once a day is enough. The dosage curve with regular minoxidil seems to peter out pretty quickly to the point that soaking one's head twice daily might not do anything more than using it on only balding areas once daily. It certainly shouldn't hurt to use it twice a day. I drink topical and then use foam at night which is easy to apply and blends in without residue. The best bet for someone only using topical would be to look into supplementing sulfurotransferase, which is an enzyme that minoxidil needs in order to be as efficacious as possible. Oral min creates its own sulfurotransferase when it makes its pass through the liver. So minoxidil is a sort of pro-drug in terms of needling to be processed to its metabolites for full effect or perhaps any effect at all.
You drink topical for oral minoxidil effects? i take oral min too but i just have pure minoxidil powder and measure put 2.5mg of min every afternoon and put it in a veggie capsule, i dont know how well its getting absorbed though cause im sure the fillers and inactive ingredients in the pills help the minoxidil get absorbed. Ive also heard about the sulfrotransferase supplement and im gonna bye MSM its really cheap and you only need 1.8g a day, is MSM the one youre using too or do you take something else.

I think that it is available to purchase or a person can purchase minoxidil sulfate. I have seen ads for it time to time but it's much more expensive than just "drinking" a few ml of topical.
Theres no way you can bye minoxidil sulfate, its literally so hard to create other than how your body makes it, if it would be for sale it would be like 1000 dollars a gram, any ad youve seen online im pretty sure its a fake ad. Im 99% about this but you seem experienced so i dont wanna dispute you if you genuinely know more about this than me.

Minoxidil: C9H15N5O
Minoxidil sulfate: C9H15N5O4S

It's hard to add 3 more oxygen atoms and a sulfur atom?

Minoxidil sulfate is dirt cheap. The reason it's not produced is because it's too unstable in solution for mass production. You have to buy the raw powder and mix it yourself in small batches, daily if you use water, and weekly if you don't use water.

I just thought that a guy who used to be on here @bridgeburn used sulfate but maybe it was just the enzymes. Anyway, he went on to only use oral min.

You would think that it would be true that filler matters to absorption of oral min but it doesn't appear to make a difference because you can clearly tell when oral min works because you get body and beard hair growth as well as eyelashes and brow growth. Ingesting oral (topical) min doesn't require a prescription or an off-shore connection. It is easy to implement at very little cost. I don't think that one needs more than oral min although micro-needling with topical (foam) min is something beneficial to many.

Do you think topical minoxidil sulfate will work better than oral minoxidil? I wouldn’t mind making daily batches. I’m finding oral minoxidil is causing more problems than hair regrowth. I know you dropped oral minoxidil from your regimen. Did you experience a shed after quitting?

Besides the unstabability part you wrote i also read that its hard to make, i dont know ive never seen minoxidil sulfate being sold anywhere, but even if it was why wouldnt people just buy that and mix daily batches of it? wouldnt it be extremely popular since most people cant convert minoxidil into its sulfate form anyway? Dont get me wrong i would love to bye pure minoxidil sulfate from somewhere if its available.

People do. They sell tons of it on alibaba. If you don't think it's real minoxidil sulfate you can get it tested for $50. Most people can't be bothered to mix something up every day. I'm obsessed with hair and I can't even be bothered to do that.

So you drink a cup of topical min every day just like you would with a minoxidil pill? Did it work?

Dear lord, don't drink a cup of topical minoxidil. You will die. People who do that only drink one or two drops.

Ive read that the minoxidil they sell is actually minoxidil and sulfuric acid together not minoxidil sulfate,

its been sold 150$ for 5mgs here, are they scamming people? Are you 100% sure alibaba sells minoxidil sulfate?

By cup i mean the measured exact amount that would translate to however mgs you want to take. Misleading on my part

It's not a fake site. They sell to universities in small quantities for research. People have made posts about it here and on baldtruthtaIk going way back. Most of the smart people don't post. People only post on here to complain that finasteride made their penis shrink or dutasteride made them go bald. The average IQ on this forum is room temp.

I see, yeah sometimes i can tell right away from the title that the quality of the people interacting in a certain thread is going to be atrocious. So personally do you think i should just drop the minoxidil powder i bought, the kirkland i premixed i have and bye minoxidil sulfate instead? I dont mind making a batch every evening as im already making ru58841 batches sometimes. Is it too much to ask about a thread you may have saved regarding minoxidil sulfate on here?

I don't, but I have a study for it here https://www.karger.com/Article/Fulltext/488011

If you don't mind mixing it up constantly there is no reason not to use it over the regular minoxidil unless it irritates your scalp too much. If storing it you need to mix it separately because as it degrades the sulfur separates from the minoxidil, leaving you with minoxidil and sulfur. The sulfur will degrade your other drugs.

I dont mind mixing it every day to be honest. Storing it you mean the powder right? Because yeah as youve said i read it degrades in a solution so you would need to make new batches frequently. When you say sulfur will degrade other drugs do you mean drugs that you would potentially have added to your minoxidil solution?
