That is their UK head office address... show me where it says 'Manufactured in the UK' or that the Finasteride 'API is manufactured in the UK'.
Who cares, this generic drug is prescribed by your own doctor as generic finasteride. Seems to be a common generic to prescribe. From what I seen. Even here in sweden doctors prescribe accord.

Yes Accord are the Manufacturer, it still doesn't say 'Manufactured in the UK' or that the Finasteride 'API is manufactured in the UK'.

It says ''manufactured by''

Its specifically worded like that for a reason.

BTW I've read their leaflets I know what it says and how they word generics in the UK.

Yes

Manufacturer
Sage House,
319 Pinner Road,
North Harrow
Middlesex,
HA1 4HF,
United Kingdom.

Not Manufactured

The Manufacturer is registered at that address.

It does not say this product including the API is Manufactured in the UK.

But up to you, if it makes you feel better believing that Intas makes its finasteride API at a rented office in Middlesex then feel free to carry on.

Intas set up Accord as a way of distributing their generics world wide,

That's what Accord is, it's just a way for Intas to market its drugs overseas without the stigma that comes with being an Indian Pharmaceutical Company.

''Who makes Accord medication?

Accord is the commercial arm of Intas Pharmaceuticals, a pioneering biopharmaceutical company operating in India since 1976. The Accord and Intas organizations are a true global distribution network, with presence in over 70 countries worldwide.''

Well whatever. All generic finas are made in india like you said. But at least I bought a commonly prescribed and known generic finasteride. Even when I search for finasteride on Google i get several hits of finasteride accord from several local Swedish pharmacys. Even found it on doctoronline and you need a prescription to get it. I trust it way more than this unknown healpecia rofl.

The the labeling laws in the UK means the manufacturer doesn't have to list where its actually made, or where the API are sourced from they just have to list their Head office as the manufacturer.

In the US they have different labeling laws, which is why the US label used to look like this.

Accord are expanding year on year in the UK, so while I don't doubt they are pressing and packaging some generic medications now in the UK, until I see something that says the bulk 'finasteride API' is also actually made in the UK I'm still going to believe its coming from the same place Intas has always manufactured their finasteride, which is in one of their Indian plants

I'm only mentioning it because Accord & Actavis (also made by Intas), were 2 of the brands that didn't stop my hair from continuing to miniaturize, so for me they were not working as well as they should.

But if you can get them to work, then its not a problem.

and yes, like you say Accord are one of most widely prescribed brands.

I think seeing as I've been taking finasteride all this time, and I haven't been constantly reporting about this side or that side, swapping regimens every 5 minutes, or writing panicked posts asking for peoples advice, would probably single me out as one of the least likely people on this board to have ever suffered from BDD or Hypochondria.

But again up 2 u.

Don't worry I will never be as crazy as you are, and for the record I've been tired of all your Bullshit post's for months.

so ignoring my posts, will be doing me the greater favour.

Hello there, I bought generic finasteride (Healpecia-1) from expressPCT before it got shut down and I’be been taking it for 21 days so far. Still losing lots of hair and my overall density is probably the same or slightly worse. This isn’t the problem however.

what scares me is that I got 0 side effects. Not even the normal ones 90% of people get like ball ache and increased libido for the first week or so. Does this mean my Finasteride is fake? Please help. Thank you
Going back to the OP....

21 days is a pretty short amount of time to do an evaluation unless you have some previous experience on the drug to compare it to

and an absence of sides doesn't prove that the medicine you have is devoid of finasteride.

You could always just stop taking the drug for a few weeks... take a DHT test, get back on, take another DHT test, and see if it actually does anything.

Hi, all legit finasteride contains finasteride.

I've mentioned this before, I was originally on Proscar for 7 years, then Cipla Fincar (5mg version of finpecia) for a further 7 years and was very very almost unnoticeably losing ground after 7 years on fincar.

I only noticed a difference after 14 years+ on finasteride when I swapped to another obscure generic, and my hair magically improved over the next 2 years.

So its not a question on whether all finasteride works or not (which it does) its more a question of, will everyone get exactly the same results with every brand they try when compared over a 20 year period

A lot of this also seems to have to do with how much of your hair finasteride is actually maintaining, as for me the problem has been magnified now that 100% of my front and mid scalp hair is being is artificially held in from finasteride.

for people who only have a small amount of their hair affected by finasteride, then its likely that they will have similar results to my first 14 years when I couldn't really tell any difference between brands.
