Is my scalp thinning? Or just natural since hair is thinnish.

My family and doctor said my hair is fine, and it is thick apparently. But isn't this aggressive balding and thinning?? My hairline is apparently good as well. I can't see scalp through hair only see scalp when I part it. Time to go on pills? Am I doomed af. Definitely don't want to be on pills just yet. Hoping it could be natural

Is it really that bad? What if my hair is just naturally thin
I couldn't see the hairline really but that is a wide part which people used to tell me before I finally bothered to take out a hand mirror and fell into depression for the next 36 years but I am back, baby.

if you post here, I will try to provide usable input:

You have pinpointed your problem in time, though, happily as we have solutions nowadays. When I was 20, my doctor mussed up my thinning hair, said no estradiol prescription for me and that I needed to "take it like a man" so things have changed less than one might think except now "I take it like a woman...."

I really need to see it from the front so I can examine your "halo" and look to see if you have lost hair in front of your ears which usually isn't cosmetically significant but it does have predictive value. That's the first place that my hair grew back. You want an oval halo down to the sideburns.

It might be good to get a second opinion from another doctor.

I’ve ever had 2 dermatologists give me different/opposing diagnosis for the same problem.

you can consider dieting and topicals instead. 90% of the people here believe minoxidil/finasteride is the only option.

Diet plays a massive role so if you're prone to scalp tension and DHT diet is really going to affect it. You don't have to use Rogaine.

i'm taking a month break off from dieting & topicals(keto cream 2%, emu oil, etc) but gonna pick it up on march.
