Is my scalp thinning? Or just natural since hair is thinnish.

you can consider dieting and topicals instead. 90% of the people here believe minoxidil/finasteride is the only option.

Diet plays a massive role so if you're prone to scalp tension and DHT diet is really going to affect it. You don't have to use Rogaine.

i'm taking a month break off from dieting & topicals(keto cream 2%, emu oil, etc) but gonna pick it up on march.

p.s: pic is not me
So this here is 100 thinning or possibly just natural thin hair. Keep in mind I don't lose hair in shower hardly or comb.??

We don't have camel meat here and I am not trolling; more tongue in cheek but tell us more.

this is defiantly diffuse thinning. any kind of hairloss is not normal
Everyone loses a few years in shower. I don't wake up with hair on pillow. I just mean it's slightly wide the gap . But doctor said it's fine so it's either he's right everyone is overeacting or I'm just gonna go downhill

So confused as it doesn't look bad here. My family said some scalp is normal to show.

If you want a comparison, then your hair is similar to John Lennon's and his held up.
My doctor surely can't be wrong if I visit him twice right? And even if it is normal could I try the oil min and try treat it thst way? Or do I need a pill if its thinning.

I either trust the doctor if he sais its not, or I spent 600 on a trip to see a dermatologist.

Doctors are retarded. All they do is incite what they learnt from a text book during exam.

The sad truth is that 90% of the people here know more about hair loss than your average dermatologist.

When I visited a hair clinic all they could say DHT is the root cause. It's a lot more deeper than that...such as scalp tension, diet, etc.

They're lying to you.

I and a few other people are in the minor here but most people are just going to lie to help you cope. You should not see any scalp whatsoever which is an indication of healthy hair.

But my whole family has scalp when they part their hair? You're saying I'm gonna go bald in the next few years? I'm screwed... Bye bye mental health. I don't suit bald. I've tried it. Everyone has scalp when they part. But you're 100 percent sure I'm balding?

So you're saying there is NO chance it's normal, just thin hair and may stay like that past my adulthood. You're saying it is diffuse thinning even though I don't lose hair in wash or shower, you're positive? Keep in mind white light can make it appear worse. The image below proves I'm gonna go bald? View attachment 156746

It's a stage of diffuse thinning. I'm 100% positive. Just because it has not advanced in years does not mean it isn't diffuse thinning. male pattern baldness is mysterious.

We don't know your genetics and what the future holds.

Well did you see my first post? It's up to you if you want to fix it with camel diet or go on rogaine/finasteride for life

Yeah but what if u guys are wrong and its normal like I just don't understand how you can 100 percent know I'm balding. Balding is a big statement. I'm really worried and the diet won't do anything.

I never said you were going to be a norwood 7. What I am saying is that you have lost density in your hair by at least 50%.

You see this is the problem. I present you photos of the individual doing hardcore dieting with topicals, which he recovered in a few months and then you're denying clear evidence in front of your eyes.

Well I have to see a dermatologist because of your guys comments, and if they say I'm not thinning. It will be annoying having told false information. Everyone has their scalp showing if you part it hard enough, but sure mine might be a bit wide but light makes it look worse. And it doesn't feel like I've lost 50 percent density as its thick whne I run my hands through it. You can't tell me the doctor and the dermatologist is wrong. They have done years of study

These guys have no idea if you are thinning. I posted a pic in 2017. I was told I had crown thinning. I started using finasteride and it put me in Telogen Effluvium for years. Only now has my hair recovered and it’s absolutely fine. Obviously thinner than 3 years ago but no noticeable hair loss. NW1 no crown thinning, just extra loss from the Telogen Effluvium.

listen to your doctor not the people on this site. You have a full head of fine hair. Evaluate it in 6 months.
