Some people, no matter how hard they try, will always be big.
Their body is programmed to function the best at a certain weight.
Some folks unfortunately have a set point weight at a rather heavy weight compared to the rest of us.
They deserve just as much sympathy as young balding men.

The guy with lymes disease does excercise as much as he can. But his weight fluctuates between 700 and 400 pounds.
Some people just don't excercise of course. But some do have slow metabolisms.
