I have no problem with bald shamers going down.
Let them all eat sh*t in the form of many "outer trees."

BTW what do you mean he "talks about how his friends with bad hairlines getting staged off"?
How, exactly?
I mean, I'm assuming all these guys are in their mid twenties too.
A bit old to be doing all this juvenile crap.

He hasn't brought it up often but just like the snapchats with little captions about hairlines, they just acknowledge each others recession, often when it's not even NW3.

Way too old for this juvenile crap and other friends have made a point about it.

"But I need to cut it every week, it just grows too fast".

But alas, a positive story my friends.

This is a quote from a friend of mine and it's 2 years old, he's now 25 and a total bald shamer (posts snapchats of receding friends, random guys in public, talks about how his friends with bad hairlines get slagged off etc) to make this quote even worse.

However, and I've suspected this for a while, but he does a masterful whipping styling combover thats becoming obvious, he's hiding definite recession and bonus points: diffuse thinning! The diffuse only in the last few weeks is becoming notable, it's like looking past the outer trees and into the forest landscape.

I still maintain bald wishing is pretty bad for most cases and as this is my friend I still genuinely don't want him to suffer but hey, if it had to happen to anyone...

And certainly for many of you all reading this, if I heard this happened to some stranger who's a bald shamer, it would practically brighten up my day. Enjoy.

That story should feel good like you said, but it just makes me cringe because you said "bonus points because its diffuse thinning" ... because Im diffuse thinning.

I dont wish hairloss on anyone, just wish that guy would come around and not be a dick

I do not think it is casual. I have seen bald spotters become bald as well. Bald spotters are so afraid of hair loss (which they can see coming) that they react by trying to ridicule bald people.

A bit like some some sons of migrants who shame first generation migrants.

a girl said that to me once. After telling me, "you should style your hair (diffusely thin rats nest) another way, I can help you", I told her I had simply thought of every way and it's too f*****g thin to do that. She then proceeded to go off with, "we all have our own challenges. My hair IS TOO THICK, I HAVE TO THIN IT OUT. and, lately it's been getting kinda greasy which is super embarrassing (because she washed every single day). That was our last encounter. what the f*****g nerve.

you should grow your hair long bro. guys with long hair are so sexy. this totally applies to diffuse thinners too!

on a serious note, i try to see the good side in comments like that. i appreciate anyone who refers to the rat's nest on top of my head as "hair". suggesting that it has the potential to look good indicates that they don't even see me as a hair loss monster.

Dude, did you shown this to dermatologist.
Check for underlying conditions.

Yeah I might do that. My last few derms have said nail brittleness is caused by the immune system attacking hair and anything similar to it (eg nails).

Hopefully it is caused by something else that is more treatable though - having healthy nails again would be awesome. :D

I wonder if he'll abruptly or gradually pull back on the bald jokes as his loss becomes worse, and he reality sets in of how unfunny male pattern baldness actually is

Absolutely nothing funny about this sh*t
