Is there still hope for me with Propecia?

I'm 22 y/o with early frontal thinning. I'm a NW2 but the first inch is like 50% less density and in the middle of my hairline I got a divit. So I been on Propecia for almost 7 months and almost nothing. Although after about 4 months I started shedding way less hairs and after about 5 months I saw a little improvement but at the same time a litte loss as well. Anyway now for the past 2-3 weeks shedding increased again and nothing thickening or regrowing. Is there still hope?

Be patient and don't even think of giving up now. It takes a lot of time to see some results and these are usually far from spectacular. Are you sure you're taking a genuine drug (not some generic crap bought on the Internet)? Are you taking the correct dosage (1 mg a day)? Are you keeping your tablets in a cool, dry place?

Yea sure I get em at my local pharmacy and yes I take the whole 1mg pill. The reason I'm getting so disappointed I been reading on the net how many young men taking it with way worse hair loss then me and have awesome results in months.

I quit at the end of month 11, Defeated by sides.

However I was by the end of eleven months having really good results. The health of my frontal hairline was stable and I was getting noticeable regrowth along the hairline and temples.

How come you see good results after 11 months but you said in previous post that you didn't see anything till 10-11 months? I know new results don't magically improve in a month lol

My fault on wording it that way.

It's the Same thing, I was seeing good results precisely at about 10 months and one week. Give or take. The results were about the same by month eleven. But post 10 months my hair seemed to be improving just about every time I looked at it.

This is the 9th month for me on finasteride and I want to be absolutley damn sure that what I'm seeing right now is not a mirage and once I'm certain I will come back and let you guys know what I've been through.

The reason I'm skeptical is, every month there seems to be a glimmer of hope when my buzzed hair starts to grow but all hopes are dashed later when it starts shedding. This time its been a little different....
