Is This A Normal Receding Hairline?

I have a father that started balding at 40, mine has been speeding up dramatically, however my pattern is very different than from my father, he has diffuse thinning on top . I also have diffuse thinning but the front part is still thick, plus i have seborrheic dermatitis which is being treated but not that well cause it wont stop...the treatment is synotosympt.

Can you guys tell me if this is a normal receding hairline? And also give me advice? Im planning on shaving it off and getting buff

There is no normal receding hairline I think. If your going to shave it and get buff not sure why you are worried. Unless, you do want to try to treat it. Is that your backup plan? Either way good luck, man.
