Is this minoxidil shedding ??? :(

A little itch....nuthin much frankly....

Shed....The slaughter continues.....18 days now...I am giving it two more weeks. I hope it stops

Wow that really sucks dude. I hope that it turns out ok. In my case, it itches like crazy. I don't know how others can handle this feeling.

This is when i think forums suck but here is my story:

i had similar results, about after a week on minoxidil, i lost so much hair it was rediculous, like you, i almost had a panic attack... i woke up with a freaking halo of hair on my pillow, like something out of a movie. Keep in mind i had longer curly blond hair, but still, it was disturbing. Anyways, went back to the derm and was told to stop, made me itch like hell too. Very sensitive skin to begin with. Put on propecia, 6+ years and could not be happier. Decent regrowth and maintained.

A slight reduction in shedding...For the last 3 days I have been seeing like 50-60 hairs instead of like 100-110 hairs. I hope this is not a temporary respite. I want to see these numbers go down further.

What caught my attention more was....I have black hair and its looking really really dark black right now.

I think it must be minoxidil making my hair darker. Is it a good thing ?
It surely look better. I dont know if this my mind is playing games or my hair looks darker and better

f*** sh*t....That was really a temporary respite. Again shed like crazy today. This is so fucked up man. I have already been shedding for 27 days. Thats really a lot of shedding. I am so confused whether I should stop it or just continue applying it. Its impossible to live with this crazy shed

I'm in exactly the same boat as you. My main area of hairloss is in the same area as you with some thinning farther back so I've been applying over entire area for 8 days and I've lost a lot of hair over the entire area but more towards the back where the problem wasn't as bad. I'm really freaking out and fear that I made things worst by using rogaine! :x
