Yeah, I was basically a sex addict honestly. HRT killed my sex drive for 3-4 months then it came back but was lower. After my last dosage increase it's pretty high again, but still not as high as before. Even when my sex drive was at its lowest it was still possible to get full erections though, it just took more effort. Low libido =/= ED.

I'm not saying side effects don't happen from taking finasteride, but I think the problem is extremely overstated online. The fact of the matter is most guys taking it are completely fine and people who do this crazy finasteride fear mongering are doing more harm than good by scaring guys away from a perfectly safe drug. I fell into that trap when I was 17-18 and in the height of my sex addiction - the mere idea of losing function in my c*** was enough to scare me away from it. Funny how that one turned out, lmao..

Literally everything has side effects. Drinking too much water can kill you. Is water unsafe? The studies say the odds of developing side effects are low, and the odds of those side effects persisting after cessation are pretty much statistically insignificant. Thus, it is safe.
