My wife and I arrived at the airport after serving 2 years overseas in the military, and I was happy to see my 2 best friends had come to greet us...

...until one of them walked straight to me and without a hello or a handshake, lifted my baseball cap off my head and then looked at my other friend, as if they had made a bet on the progress of my hair loss over those 2 years.

The guy that took my hat off, BTW, weighs over 300 pounds. I had never, ever messed with him about his weight, knowing he is sensitive about it. I made an exception this time...I looked at him and said, "I might grow my hair back someday, but I'll bet every penny I have that you'll always be a fatass."

With "friends" like that you don´t need enemies.......

But the fat guy is still better off since for him it is so much easier to lose weight than for you regrowing your hair. Sad but true......

Maybe they were just ribbing you. I think you went overboard with calling your friend a fatass.

No one in my family thought I was losing hair at the time but my aunt who was divorced and in her early 60s was back in the dating and said how she hated all the men on the online apps because they were all either ugly, fat, or bald. She even told me a story about getting hatfished. This is the state of women now. Be 60 years old and look like a raisin and still demand full head of hair, tall, fit, and attractive.
