lol...this rat was basically my profile pic for a while when i first joined. gooooood times. i am sincerely glad I have this brotherhood. it's helped me quite a bit. without it, I would have been consoled by the same f*cks who initially told me, "you don't have it that bad. at least you don't have it like this guy (insert a pic of a guy with alopecia areata)"
I really wonder how many men are kept off of facebook/social networking websites due to hair loss, myself included. That, or posting no new photos of themselves in years. It's much worse for young men though. I've seen older balding men with facebook profiles though. But they use it more as a vehicle for communicating with friends and relatives, rather than hooking up with women or garnering attention.

Me neither at first. I had a photo of myself for the first few years on facebook. But nowadays a lot more people don't have their pic up. And as long as at least one pic of yourself is up I dont think its that weird.I don't know, I really can't imagine creating a facebook profile for myself with no photo. And I am not sure if any woman would go out with a guy that they met on social networking without seeing a photo of him first.
But if you derive enjoyment from facebook, then that is all that counts. I know that you were down for a while and it's good to see that you're apparently feeling better.
yep. im pretty sure its at least common to use facebook as a stepping stone to a real life relationship. Why else would people choose to put their dating status on the main page if it wasn't to let others know they're available to date.
