You're judging my life (when I had my hair) on the basis of what your life was like when you had your hair. You can't have everything in life, I know I shouldn't complain.

Even when a guy seems to have everything (looks, height, hair), I often discover that he's mentally damaged.

Ironically, living life on god can really mentally f*** you up too. Just look at celebrities.

I think it was zircon who said that it's always good to face some adversity in life.

And here I am coping too.

Fred, I can support your theory of "even when a guy seems to have everything(looks, height, hair) and even a good career, he can still be mentally damaged". Most have BDD. Not only that but sometimes they feel very "entitled" and when their looks fade, they definitely become more mentally damaged when they no longer "take the spot light". Eventually those people become "nameless" to society.

Well celebrities have a host of other problems that your general attractive person doesn't have.

But attractive people have their own issues. Growing older is harder, especially for women who've coasted through life on easy mode and suddenly realize how difficult it can get. And there's always someone with more than you, having it easier than you, we aren't capable of being satisfied.

Also whilst attractive people are more highly educated than unattractive people, I feel they have less of a grasp on reality. A more idealized view on the world. I like to think I'm smarter than most people anyways lol. Everyone thinks this though so guess I'm just coping.

They have made the same determinations about attractiveness and attractiveness is found to be the number 1 physical trait for making a person popular and successful.

Like I said, Fred got on the tallness train, which is OK, but he missed the biggest bestest mode of transportation - the attractiveness boat. The attractiveness boat blows the tallness train out of the water.

I see your pic in your icon. No offense but your looks are not special even though you have a lot of hair. When I have as much hair as you have I'm MUCH better looking than you are. When you and I both have our hair our lives are totally different. You can not relate to how popular I am because you have your own degree of popularity and the degree of popularity you have is the degree of popularity that you can relate to, And you figure all guys have it roughly the same as you. But when I have my hair my popularity is MUCH greater than yours.

Well, everyone knows here my english grammar isnt a perfect like your way handling with woman, but it doesnt matter. I was learning english by myself lurking internet forums and still doing a lot of mistakes which ofcourse they are noticeable and nothing to hide here.
Since i know my own Polish langunage on top level, currently i dont need to watch out on my mistakes in case of " Women like intelligent men " because i would to get woman from my own country. And knowledge about english languange has nothing to intelligence - you just admitted how dumb you are and also, i am not that desperate trying to find a girl from another countries - which is ok also .

Although you should have known that the "C" in Christ should be capitalized no matter what country you're from.

* That aside, my posts are not about boosting my ego. I'm an ugly guy TODAY and TODAY is what matters. My posts about attractiveness are about 3 things:

1. I am asserting the position here that attractive people are harmed more by hair loss than less attractive people.

2. When I post these assertions I kind of relive my past a little (in my mind) and that ameliorates some of my depression.

3. When I post these assertions it gives me a reminder how charmed my life will be if I get my hair back. And reminding myself how charmed my life will be if I get my hair back is something of a pep-talk.

I don't really think there is one definite category that hair loss is worse for - attractive or unattractive it is bad for everyone. how well we handle it is based on other personal factors that is unique to each situation. you can't just say hair loss is worse for attractive people because it doesn't make sense.

height, wealth, socail skills, build, age , mental health and endless other factors go into the mix.

I disagree. It's my position that...

* it's harder to fall from being a guy who has MANY women to becoming a guy who has to struggle to get one woman.

* than it is for being a guy who falls from having just a few women to becoming a guy who has to struggle to get one woman.

When both men have their hair they both fall when they lose their hair but the fall is shorter for the man who can't get many women to start with.
