Looking for ways to make hair lighter

Hi,

I recently got a new hair system and it's a shade darker than what I would normally get. My old hair system was quite light and faded so it's quite a shock.

Which shampoo / conditioner is best to remove some or the colour?

Any other techniques to lighten it? I've been out in the sun and it's not really done anything to lighten it.

Any help is appreciated.

I always find the colour change a shock too when I change systems. The only way I've found is to wash it more often initially with something like Head & Shoulders, and to be out in the sun as often as possible. I think the sun helps to fade it the most.

A few washes to start then leave it in the quite strong sun for 15 minute periods until it gets to the colour you want would be what I do. Monitor it in the sun as the power of it can speed it up

I had that problem with one of my hair units, except mine was two shades darker than what it was suppose to be. i shampooed the hell out of the, but that never helped. I was told to use rit color remover, that did lighten the unit
