Thats the reason but why is some hair immune to dht and the immune system while the rest is not? what is the difference?

The problem with that theory is that male pattern baldness would have to already exist in the first place, for it to be associated with (surviving to) old age.

There's just no logic...why loose it on the very top of your head, where you really need them...

The whole debate really comes back to just basic questions. Why is some hair immune to dht and others are not? Why do androgens inhibit hair growth on the head but promote body hair? Assuming of course just dht is involved and not all androgens of all forms.
