Read the label on Propecia...."for healthy individuals".....

In clinical trials 2% had sides. Remember that they were screened of any and all health issues before accepted into the trails. That means they went into the clinical trails as healthy men worthy of study without interference of other issues that might interfere with the study of Propecia (finasteride) effects on human male.

BUT IN THE REAL WORLD, you got who knows what trying finasteride for a day or a month and god knows what other problems they have to begin with and the finasteride just aggravates all the other issues they art having and they seek help and blame.

Everyone is different. My guess is that if you have an high estrogen going on, your not gona do well on finasteride.
Talk to girls that know dicks and guys and gays and doctors and you will find out that for a fact that there are many guys who are boarder line with the sex thing and cant get it up ON finasteride OR NO finasteride, thus you have v****, Cealis and a hole industry for help in that department, these are these ones who just cant do finasteride because they are boarder line issues to begin with.

What do you think on my results?I followed your advice taking 1;25mg finasteride?

Thanks for the feedback on my thread :)

It's difficult to see if you're progressing with the treatment as your pictures are quite varied. Can you try to take current baseline pictures from the same angles and lighting, then take photos every few months. It's quite important to have sharp focus and the same light levels for each set of images or there is no way to check progress on a forum like this.

I don't discount side effects. It is possible. I truly bleieve there are some guys out there with problems.

However, most of the guys on Propecia Help are losers with mental problems--huge insecurities. They're going to "see" side effects that don't exist in many cases.

I just read a report that extremely overweight guys have a 240% higher risk of having erectile dysfunction. Wouldn't surprise me if half the propecia guys are fat and correlate their propecia use with ED.

f*** I'm overweight do I have a high risk?I'm 90kg and5'8

Looks like you have a bit of finasteride gyno going on there, I'd keep an eye on that.

If you don't see much of an improvement in 5 months, then I suggest that you consider using avodart.

I'm thinking maybe a shed on minoxidil?since I add minoxidil it's been worst maybe because it's only my first month..but I think finasteride is doing it's job...so far extreme high libido side effect for finasteride for me...

Just want to let you know, this is wise stuff man.

Also to the OP, it looks like your hairline is even growing back. I wouldn't worry if I was you.

Fair enough, you're in the best position to judge. But looking at your pictures of page 2 compared to the ones on page 3 you seem to have gained a lot of size in your chest/breasts without an equal amount of gain in the stomach/arms etc, that indicates finasteride gyno to me.

Your 'boobs', as you refer to them, weren't really noticeable at all in the pic on page 2, you could tell you were a little overweight, but nothing major. The pics on page 3 seem to show true gyno though, rather than simply being fat deposits from being overweight (that said, it could just be the angle of the photos).

Anyway, like I said, you're in the best position to judge, but I'd certainly keep an eye on it. The earlier you address it, the more chance you have of snuffing it out. Leaving gyno untreated can lead to it becoming permanent and the only treatment being surgery.
I'd see a doctor and get some tests done personally, better safe than sorry.

(I mean you no offense in what I've said here btw, just trying to help out. I've run into finasteride gyno myself and it can be quite deceptive.)

Developing finasteride gyno is a painfull experience, right? Noticed any pains/tenderness or lumps near your nipples, mann? If not, your safe for now

I don't think it's necessarily that straight forward. Maybe for steroid related gyno because it's caused by such a quick and severe change to the hormones, finasteride gyno seems to creep up on you a lot more.

My nipples were never painful and I never had any lumps, only indicator was occasional itchiness which I didn't pay much attention to. I didn't really have traditional gyno per se though, it was more just puffiness in the breast/nipple area.

@Mann, any normal GP will do. I just told my Doctor I was a bit concerned about it and he ran the necessary blood tests to confirm.

Sorry to derail your topic btw Mann. On the topic of your hair, just keep persevering with the big 3, give it some time and things will start to look up.
