dude honestly even if you become a Norwood -1 overnight, it wont help you. You need to start sorting your life out.

Alright, I dont have full blown male pattern baldness, but I do have hairloss, look at my temple shots you can see minutirized hairs. Looking to treat them, but want to do so without losing more hair, cos things seem pretty stable right now.

And for the record outside of these forums I do have a lot happening for me. I have a quite active social life, about to graduate, and have a graduate job lined up. But like any other 24 year old I am worried about hairloss, simply because it impairs your looks, which can in turn affect your chances with the opposite sex. Also, being hit by this in my 20s and not my 30s is absolute BS tbh - not even hit my prime yet.

If tommorrow, I have the gaurenteee that I will not lose anymore hair for at least another decade, then I will never return here ever. But as you know from being a hair loss sufferer, its unpredictable.

I never worried about hair loss when I was a NW0, as a matter of fact I loved my hair back then to the point I took it for granted. My hair used to be my best attribute - girls would compliment me over it.

hair loss is like playing russian roulette, even when it comes to treating it.

Oknow, don't listen to any of these people. They are probably just regretting that they didn't catch their hair-loss the same time you did - before it really even happened. Now is the best time to treat hair-loss. You obviously have some miniaturization along the hairline. But unless you're going to get on finasteride, minoxidil, or another effective treatment, there's no point in sitting on these forums dousing yourself with pity, getting ridiculed by all of these people who are jealous of your hair. If I were you, I would just take a Propecia everyday and call it good.

I can't take propecia right now because of an upcoming op.

Would minoxidil to thicken up the miniaturized hairs on my temple points be a good idea?

Applying a little with my fingertips?

I hope you are right Dr House, really do. Going by my older bros hair, its hard to judge, he is a year older with some recession, but like mine still incredibly thick.

Sure why not, as long as you can find the motivation. Or, you could just wait until you can take Propecia.

What dosage should I take, I mean I dont have much hair I want to apply it too - only the minutirized ones on my temples....so a full 1ml (even 0.5ml is too much) dose is a bit unneccessary?

Will it still be effective if I use say less than or equal to 0.25ml as a dosage.

you missed the point. Hairloss is not your issue, you need to dig a little deeper.
