Agreed. I would start treatment but that’s just me
corners seem a little thinner maybe but could just be in my head, in pics looks the same but when styling seems thinner. Currently using lia organics rosemary hair growth oil and a 1mm derma roller. My derm said he didnt think I needed medical treatment but said to come back soon to compare photos and see if rogaine would be worth it. He very much doesn't think I need finasteride.

When my hair is a little longer than it is now it seems to look more full, for some reason after my most recent haircut two weeks ago hair looks thinner?

Longer hair can mask early stage hairloss up to a certain point. It’s very difficult to tell without taking measurements, good consistent photos, and/or examining miniaturization with a dermatoscope. Without those things it’s just too subjective. One can lose up to 50% density before it’s really obvious to the untrained eye. Have those three things done once a year at least and make your decision from those comparisons.

If I was you, I'd start finasteride and not think about hair loss again. Doesn't look aggressive, your hairline hasn't changed much since the first post. I reckon finasteride would completely stabilize your loss and give you peace of mind. If you don't go on treatment, I can see you receding more over the decades, but I'm unsure that you would reach nw7.

Bloodwork shows vitamin d deficiency 23.9 ng/mL, could be contributing. Maybe a supplement will help with the hair.

Won’t hurt to take a daily supplement and/or get daily sun exposure (better) but don’t expect miracles.

With flash right out of shower. Going back to derm next week. Can't really report any growth from the rosemary oil and derma roller, unclear if it's done anything.
