I posted pic of Ben Mckenzie because he was chosen as a lead for Gotham because of his good looks. So if a man is good enough to be chosen as a lead, he is good enough to find a beautiful gf. Also, It is irrelevant that he is a celebrity. Rules of attraction still apply. She found him hot enough to divorce her husband and go for him despite him being 5'8.

Also, I know plenty of gorgeous women who are in long term relationship with 5'8 to 5'11 tall. But that is not to say that height is not an advantage, it definitely is. But short height is certainly not a deal breaker for a lot of women, unless a man is extremely short(like 5'2).

Directors are very good at making actors look taller than they are. They use camera angles, and cast the other cast members appropriately.

I'm pretty sure Robert Downey Jr. wears platform shoes on the set of the Avengers. Yeah he looks hot in spite of being short lol. Except he's wearing platform shoes.

I mean look at this pic, Robert Downey Jr looks taller than Chris Hemsworth:

In real life, Hemsworth is 7 inches taller.

Height reduces your dating pool numbers. Face reduces you dating pool attractiveness. Short guys (to a point 5'6 probably) can still get looksmatched girls, it just gets significantly harder the shorter you are.

Beats being ugly and having no chance at hot girl.

This. There are several variables into play when it comes to attraction and height is a variable. It's a strong variable but not strong enough to cause the death of dating life for a man unless also accompanied by other variables such as an average face.

Agreed, the taller, the better. Until 6'3, or 6'4 max.

If you define "short" by height in the range of 5'8 to 5'11, then baldness is a far bigger of a handicap than height. So these things are not comparable.

No, average height is 5'10, you can't define average as short.
