Just looked on the leaflet that came with the dutasteride, and there's no mention of what's in the vehicle

You could still try to look for it in the company's site, or even email them.

Just a very very crazy shot: do you have Lactose Intolerance (problem to digest dairy products)? I found to my surprise that many drug vehicles use lactose, and the main symptom of LI is diarrhea.

Hi there folks,

I took a break from dutasteride for a couple of days and the diarrhea went away. So now I'm down to one capsule (0.5mg) a day :thumbdown2:

Will try to ramp this up to two a day if I don't get any problems within a week, then up to three etc. and then come back down when I start getting problems again.

Severe gripes and diarrhea aren't really acceptable side effects, so I'm going to have to compromise

I don't think this is lactose intolerance because I'm okay with milk, cheese etc
