Start Microneedling too, when you are restarting Minoxidil. Definitely use liquid version, it's stronger than the foam.

Hi guys,

quick update (in case anyone is following this from long time): I had enough of minioxidl and got a hair transplant instead...it’s been a week so will update you as time goes by (full growth should be in 12-18 months apparently.)

thanks

You shouldnt have started minoxidil in the First place,If you were not going to maintain your regimen. You should have started with finasteride alone for 1 year and then, add minoxidil If you want to. Btw,feel good for you that u had a transplant Man. It looks sick

Hi there,

fully agree; I should have exhausted the finastride route first (but I was scared of the small unlikely chances of side effects etc). Minioxidl was painful to apply but worked wonders for a year or two then slowly I had enough and I don’t think it was maintaining the original growth.

thanks for the positive feedback on the hair transplant; I am only 8 days post operation...so have a long way to go before full hair is restored (will update in the comings months the progress...)

Which doctor? How’s your donor?
Hi there,

I used this clinic in Turkey; called Asli Tarcan (https://aslitarcanclinic.com/). They were really good and very professional. Let’s hope my hair growth as before as it was painful during the anesthetic phase and couple of days post op too.

The donor area is recovering but still raw...here is a picture.

thanks

p.s. for some reason I can’t add a picture; it was working fine the other day but today it’s not...will keep on trying later.
thanks

You’ve gotta be fukcing blind not to see the concealer on his scalp. Buddy, you’ve lost all credibility

That’s not concealer…it’s scabbed up skin and residual dried up skin from the upper section of fue grafts. Trust me, I’ve had an fue before. He claimed he just had the surgery done, not that it was his end result. He will have to wait at least 10 months for final results

Hi guys,

Quick update: 7 weeks post FUE hair transplant. The transplanted hair in the receiver area (top) has totally fell out (see picture) as expected and as explained by the clinic. Apparently this is the normal process and it will sprout out brand new hair loss resistant hairs in the coming months (6-12 months for full restoration).

The donor area (sides and back) is recovering but you can still see there is parts not fully filled with hair and should be full of hair (not sure whether it will be as dense as before but should be good enough I suspect) in the coming months.

thanks and will post again in coming months.

I have no reason to lie nor purpose to even waste time on coming on here to fabricate something - what would be the actual gain ?

The picture I posted is how my hair looked like days after hair transplant. The white stuff/crusts fell off after the second week or so. If you do some research you would know that’s how it looks like and these phases are the usual recovery phases.

thanks and again if you think I have a hidden agenda or benefiting from this then please let me know how (so I can actually get the benefit ).

Hi there,

Thanks for your response.

How was your FUE at the end (if you don’t mind sharing )? As I am still waiting eagerly for the new hairs to come out (which will take months)...can’t wait to be honest

thanks

You don’t need to explain to me how a hair transplant works considering I’ve had two, and I’m too familiar with concealers considering my experience with them for almost 20 yrs. Besides, I’m not even referring to your hair transplant photos.... Your original post 100% has concealer. Carry on, I just had to point it out, I could never wrap my head around why dudes to that. Good luck with your hair transplant. Your sides and back where the hairs were extracted from look depleted and hopefully will fill-out soon.

Thanks man and apology if I misunderstood you. Just to point out I didn’t use a concealer either in my original posts; it was at the times when I was using minioxidl so maybe that’s how it looked in the pictures. My hair was super at that time; full of thickness and wavy and curly.

I am surprised why people actually lie because it doesn’t help their situation in real life (they still have the issue with their hair etc.)

Anyhow, no concealer from me and no keyboard warrior/lying...the attached is what my hair looks like now (which is crap at the moment :D )

Hi you seem to have cracked it by your original formula I have been trying just the Nizoral Biotin and Minoxodil and await further results.

Hi there,

Yes the original formula worked brilliantly for me; but I guess as the years kept on ticking on; my hair kept on losing more and more that the minioxidl couldn’t keep up (I presume). Or it could be down to me being complacent and losing grip of the hair regime.

Let’s hope this transplant works or else I would have no last resort anymore.

best of luck with your results

Any updates? How's the transplant looking and what regimen are you on now and for the foreseeable future?

Hi there,

Sorry for the late response; I haven’t been here on a while.

The transplant is going great and apparently it hasn’t yet reached its full potential yet (12-18 months is optimum time to fully see results, and I am only at 6.5month post Op).

Below is a picture I took that shows progress; I will try to take more to give it justice; as the best is frontal view as my looks has totally returned to what it was before.

Hi there,

I am not on any regimen right now. The surgeons only gave me herbal (non chemical) shampo to use for the first 6 months; as the new hair grafts are not mature enough to sustain harsh shampoos. However, after the first 6 months I was told I can use anything I want; as the hair is fully permanent now.

Thanks
