Hi Guys.

I'm a longtime lurker on these forums and recently noticed my hair deteriorate rapidly. I always had a high hairline even when I was 16. I had a receding hairline from puberty but always had thick hair. I first noticed my hair thinning when I was about 24 (I'm 27 now) It alarmed me but I thought maybe its just stress or just the way my hair had been cut. Then about 6 months later I noticed the hair was thicker like a horseshoe around the back and sides. I was always conscious about my hairline and never really gave much thought about it thinning but I panicked and went to see a hair specialist who prescribed me Finasteride. I went on the Finasteride in 2015 with minoxidil, and noticed after 2 months that it was working but of course the dreaded mental sides hit with lower libido. My libido returned when I went off the medication but the mental sides are still there, but thats a seperate issue. I decided to shave my head last year and use minoxidil to see how it came back, and I was surprised to see it actually looked a lot stronger and the diffused whispier hairs that would literally come out in my hands if i touched them had been replaced or at least strengthened. Then my hair got longer and I hated applying the minoxidil as it made my hair look greasy and a bit thinner, also I have psoriasis and it enflamed badly over the summer on my scalp which I feel could also be contributing to hairloss but I cant be sure. Anyway i kept using the minoxidil once a day then every other day but sometimes I would skip applications in my girlfriends house because I didnt want her to see my hair wet and for it to smell of minoxidil. Then I stopped and to be honest my hair has deteriorated a lot quicker than I thought. (6 months since) The other day I was thinking of going for the minoxidil one more time, and just commit to everyday. I was looking at the Dualgen with azealic acid. Should I even bother or just shave it? I kind of feel like I have exhausted all available options. Has anyone got any experience with the dualgen? Thanks.
