Hair loss is already a billion dollar industry. And while I doubt the facts behind this story I do see the point. This would make one manufacturer the beneficiary of the cure. No more money for merck and upjohn. But I seriously doubt this ever happened.

See, here's the thing about that. I do think this holds some weight, by the way.

Neither Propecia or Rogaine have sold particuarly well. If there was a "cure," the level of, say, Accutane, something that got some level of results from EVERYONE, even those who have been bald for years, that sh*t would sell like wild fire.

But I don't think Accutane would rate as a cure. It does not cure acne to my knowledge. It treats acne. Very well for some, not so well for others. And it has side effects.

But I DO agree that if there were a legitimate "cure" for male pattern baldness, it would be a very very hot product with tons of margin for the inventor.

Bruce found out the hard way that boards to hit back, and they hit very hard.

As for the cover up I think those comments are more suited to be spoken out in Rosewell, NM and not on a hairsite forum.
