So around July-August of 2015 I noticed thinning at the crown. Initially I wrote it off, but as the months went by I started noticing it even more.

Around Mid October I decided to hop on Rogaine and Nizoral. I also decided to see a derm, who mentioned I had Telogen Effluvium, and Androgen Alopecia. However, she didn't want to prescribe finasteride yet because of my low Iron blood levels, and wanted me to come back 3 months later. Lacking patience, I decided to order 5mg finasteride from All day chemist and I got it at the end of October.

Fast forward to a few days ago, I decided to see another dermatologist. As I wanted the peace of mind of having finasteride from a regular pharmacy and with a legit prescription( this isn't a blow to ADC) . I lucked out, as he took a look at my scalp and mentioned that I had the male pattern baldness pattern and immediately prescribed 5mg finasteride.

Pretty much content with using all of these the rest of my life, side effects be damned. I know it's still too early, and will likely put in a full update in April of 2016.

Family History

Dad went bald around his late 20's. His dad was bald.

Grandfather from my mothers side lost a lot of his hair. mostly on his crown+receding. But not near the baldness like my dad.

My strategy since October
- Cut finasteride into 4 pieces. Take every single day in the morning
- use Minoxidil Liquid in both the mornings and the night. 1ML on the top of my head, and 1ML on the crown/back of my head
- Regenepure DR 1-2x a week
- Vitamin pills: Mainly Iron+a multi
- Topical spironolactone 1-2x a week.

My results to far(OCT-DEC):

- Have noticed a lot less shedding
- the hair loss progressed a bit on the top of my head . Though it's likely it was due to the shed.
- Have started noticing some small hairs near my hairline and forehead. Hairs i've never noticed before.

What People have Said(Derms)

- I'm still very early into the process

- It hasn't progressed to the point where it's noticable.

Your regimen looks fine but why topical spironolactone only twice a week? How r you spacing that out?
