You definetely look better when it is short. If you got on finasteride and 2000 graft hair transplant, you could probably have a perfect hair line for many years.

Dude you look reeally good bald, seriously, much better than with that NW3 hairline. However If a hair transplant will make you feel better go for it... just don't stress out that much, you're really lucky to be able to pull off the bald look.

yeah. ultimately I would obviously be better off with the bald temples filled in and a hairline.

crown and mid section perfectly fine.

never took any meds

You actually genuinely look good with a shaved head and much better than with hair, I think. I'm a man so ask evillocks and joan for their opinion.

im still attractive to women. its more about feeling good about myself.

and I feel a shaved head might hold me back proffesionally etc.

Are you sucking in your cheeks in those pictures? Your skin cleared up after you shaved your head.

I completely understand when you say it's about feeling good about yourself and concern for your professional life.

no I think my face is a bit bloated sometimes

You definitely rock that ****ing beard dude, I was trying to see why you looked so good bald and I think it's your facial hair dude, obviously it's not a full beard but it makes a world of difference to your looks. You should always rock that beard-ish look, saying all that I still think you look much better with your hair grown out instead of bald.

tbh im tempted to go to dr erdogan this year and go for a transplant.

my hairline has been pretty much like this for 2 years.

I just think in 10, 20 years ill regret wondering what if..

GJB9, have you considered giving Finasteride a try? It could maintain your hair for many years if you're a good respondent, and if that's to be the case, then a hair transplant will be ideal. :)

You look absolutely fine both ways. The hairline suits you but bald also suits you and is maybe more of a macho look.

I can't see that a transplant or finasteride would be a good idea tbh.

im going to order some and give it a go. worst case scenario if I get sides ill just stop taking it.

how is getting a better hairline not a good idea. looking balding makes me look way worse

im just tired of being bothered by it. I think course of action Is take the meds and look at a transplant

worse case scenario I get rid of it altogether and go back to shaved look

Good plan! May your hair do great on Finasteride. :fun:

realistically, is it just going to prevent any further balding?

is there a good chance what ive got could be thickened up?

might not need a transplant if I can grow it out and pull something off if that's the case

If you're a good respondent to Finasteride, it won't only prevent further balding you'll have thickening of hair. There's a great fellow on here by the name of Wolf Pack who's maintaining well and got hair regrowth by being on Finasteride only.

Just don't expect phenomenal regrowth on Finasteride however, it's primarily a maintenance treatment. You may or may not need a hair transplant depending how well things go hair wise.
