If you want any chance of regrowth, go with the Big 3...I have regrown hair that way but I responded to it well. You won't know until you try.

Your hairline looks appropriate for you..i mean that in a positive way. You look like a typical hugh testosterone guy and i don't think having a juvenile/pretty hairline would look that much better if at all. In addition to that not many people are ever lucky enough to only have one hairline transplant and have that be enough for life. Hair loss will progresd in most people regardless of medication. Finasteride only slows hair loss but eventually genetics will win over. Personally i choose not to take finasteride because i would rather have the DHT in my body and be a strong, athletic, sexual guy regardless of how nice my hair looks. But that is just me and everyone can make their own choice on whether to take it.

If you're a good respondent to Finasteride, it won't only prevent further balding you'll have thickening of hair. There's a great fellow on here by the name of Wolf Pack who's maintaining well and got hair regrowth by being on Finasteride only.

Just don't expect phenomenal regrowth on Finasteride however, it's primarily a maintenance treatment. You may or may not need a hair transplant depending how well things go hair wise.

I think the 'prevent further balding' that people talk about here is misleading. Any good hair transplant doctor will tell you that finasteride only slows baldness in the long run...the genetic baldinh pattern will always win out in the end. A hair transplant is the only genuine solution but even that is only an illusion really because you'll never have full or thick density with a transplant. In a sense trying to fight baldness is a bit futile because it's a normal genetic trait... if someone can look and feel confident with a shaved head when they're balding then that is always gonna be the best solution.

You have the head shape to pull it off. So, if that's what you want to do and your happy with it, keep it.

Keep in mind the longer anybody goes without treatment, the harder it becomes to get it back. Sad but true.

Also, "in between" haircuts (#2 - #4 guards), the diffuse spots show more. Medium to long hair has more options
that can be done to conceal and balance hair out.

But at the end of the day, you have to be happy with yourself.

That being said, I still think everyone's right and slick actually suits you, but if you still have a hairline you should maintain it and just keep it very short, not bic slick short, but so you can see the stubble of the hairline a little bit more than what's in your 2nd set of pictures.

Women won't even realise you're receding! That's the beauty of it, they'll think you're a genetically pure actual man who just chooses to be bald, which is seen as humble and noble, and nobody will know the dirty secret.

those first pictures were just caught at a bad time my face is flaring up and down at the moment. think its a winter thing

I prefer the shaved look on you over the NW3 hairline as well. But I think you'd look even better with a hair transplant to recreate a hairline, but that's just my opinion. The perfect look would be hair transplant to get back a NW1-2 hairline, and very short (but not clean shaved) - something like the look Fred is sporting.

Don't bother with finasteride, it will give you a limp noodle. Just get a hair transplant if you want your hairline back.
