Hair loss makes me less outgoing at certain events, well all events really.
I can vouch for Blackg,
Haha I'll take it even further and make a confession, that while hair loss draws me inward and devours my self esteem and motivation ,
outwardly my narcissistic side probably couldn't look any stronger.

Damn, that was more than ten years ago.

As I always say, the damage hair loss does, it's obvious.

We all knew what we were in for from day one.

Yet, you'll see long conversations theorizing about how working on your personality or your body could help, that it's just hair, that people and women don't care etc.

The day you were given your diagnosis, you knew. You knew it was going to be hell, that women would lose interest, that people would see you as less than, that you would have less chance of acing job interviews, that you would suffer from psychological issues because of it, that it would be on your mind all the f-ing time.

Everyone knows this, and everyone dreads hair loss, rightfully so. God I still have flashes of the BS some people have told me: "Maybe you would have to bet everything on your personality now." "Why don't you rock nice hats!" "You don't think other people have problems too?" "You're insecure, that's not attractive, if only you worked on your confidence, women would forget about your lack of hair." etc. etc.

To have something wrong with your face is the worst thing that could happen to you in todays society.

Your face is your fortune.

I can relate to that music comment. Btw, refreshing to see someone having an avatar that is related to Metal Gear Solid (@DonaldAnderson). Nice PS One game that was. A great time, played it as an eight-thirteen year old. No worries about hair loss back then.

The thing is, if I did not have hair loss, NOTHING would have changed in my life. I mean, there is not even a single day that I do not think about hair or hair loss or what if... etc. It is very exhausting. Even before I go to sleep, when I wake up, it's hair that I think about. It would be pathetic if it wasn't true. At least, most of the forum members can relate.
Well for me it would be absolutely impossible not to think of hair loss as a last thing before going to sleep because I apply minoxidil. In the morning, again minoxidil, and finasteride.
Come think of it, every day I do five things:
- minoxidil morning
- finasteride morning
- vitamin supplement morning
- progesterone lotion late afternoon
- minoxidil night

What sickness is this? :-O
