But hair loss starts for most men in their 20's. It's funny how balding is seen as an old man's disease even though it usually starts at a young age.

That is not necessarily true. 20% of men in their 20's start balding, 30% in their 30's etc.. How older you get how much higher your chances are of experiencing thinning.

No. But at least men of your age can be happy about the fact that they have lived their most important years of their lives with full confidence.

Trust me, take my word for it, it doesn't get easier. I'm adopted, I have no clue whether balding ran in my genes or not. I first realized that it did at 22 when my hairline began receding.

It took a long time but in the last year I reached "nw3 vertex" and I feel exactly the same as I did in the late 90s.

I don't want to sound like a dick, but trust me on this.

Do you use finasteride?

I am not on any treatment right now because I waited until I was diagnosed (have only been balding for 6 months). But I am planning on using CB first before jumping on finasteride, which will be topical finasteride.

Also why are not getting a hair transplant if hair bothers you that much? You are the perfect age with still minimal hairloss.

I have a good cover up game. But it kills my confidence. Shitty, one dimensional boring hairstyle. I never approach the younger ladies. But when they approach me, it's always a nice treat and a bit of an ego boost. But i'm always wondering about my hair at the moment.

FFS just talk to them.

I'm okay where I am, nw3 vertex, it looks fine, I just can't lose any more hair. If I do then I'll consider a transplant.

Im calling bullshit on this claim, androgenetic alopecia is not a spectrum, its wether you have a high sensitivity to dht or not.
Men who go bald in their twenties or early thirties will be balding for the rest of their life. If you can make it to mid to late thirties without any hair loss you will probably fine. Its bloody obvious mate, my father and grandfather are both bald, and they started in their late twenties. These statistics were probably skewed because some men experience hair loss at a slow or later rate. Imo if you have good hair genes then you wont start losing it until you're late sixties/seventies if ever.
