My observations on NW3 effect my 22 year old dating life

The big bald spot on top of my head has fundmentally changed any concept I have about my age. According to my birth certificate I am 25 years old now, but my identity seems to have melted into an uncertain agelessness that puts me anywhere between 20 and 40 years old. This confusion about my stage in life, particularly in a sexual nature, is affirmed by the mere fact that I do not appear to be a viable candidate for sex with women of any age. Older women seem to take no notice of me because I look too young. And younger women seem to take no notice of me because I look too old. So apparently there ceases to be any "bench marks" or "average play" that I should ever expect at any age since I went bald.

Although I don't have the bald spot on top yet, about a month ago I saw the first signs of thnning on the crown, whereas up until that point I only had a very receded hairline. So I am confident that when I am your age, I will be about where you're at.

I can very much relate to what you say about not having any "average play". It's ridiculous man, and you're totally right when you say that younger girls and those our own age view us as too old, and older women still view us as too young. Very tough situation!

Do you still date at all? Surely women still show you some interest? Or has it dropped off completely?

I've had a diffuse nw3 about two years ago when I came out of a long term relationship. Very noticably balding all over my scalp. That year I did quite a bit of dating, and for some reason younger girls seemed to be more attracted to me than older were. A year ago I met my current girlfriend, and she's 5 years younger than me. She never much bothered about my hairloss.

Right now my hair is a lot better than it was 2 years ago, but I've gained weight and am not in as good shape as I was, and I've noticed less girls being interested in me as a result.

To me taking care of my looks apart from my hair and working on my social skills did a lot more than my hair ever did when I still had a full head. I was a virgin until I was 21, which is when I first saw the early signs of hairloss. I can barely imagine how it'd go if I still had that perfect nw1 :woot:

I know this is something that you hear all the time but can't really believe until you've experienced it yourselfl. Appart from myself, in my social circle the balding guys are all in happy relationships, some formed when the hair already was quite bad.
My best friend is diffusing all over his head, and has an unbelievable amount of play, whenever we go out he's got some girls into him which he could bang if he didn't have a gf already. It's no coincidense though since he's a very athletic guy with a good dress sense and a very confident manner.

I also know 2 guys who are above average looking with absolute perfect nw0s, who can't get a girl to save their life. One of them is 25 and still a virgin..

I can't really give any observations on the dating scene,as I have never been in it,and even if I wanted too be(which I don't)I am too old now anyway.

The girl I'm flirting with at the moment is 12 years younger than me. She's too immature for my liking but for one reason or another I keep playing along and I don't let her go.

I've been told by various people that I look younger, but I don't actually believe I look younger. I'm NW3, I have some gray hairs, I always leave a stubble, etc, I think it's more about the way I dress and behave.

You say that but minus the hair, your wardrobe will have a different impact on your look. In the eyes of most women, your nw3 is not as bad as you see it while only a few women don't mind a bald head.

Once you go bald, there will be no need too worry about what you are wearing, anything you wear will look s**t with a horseshoe/sly head.
