there has been a couple of posts about increase frontal loss on dutasteride, actual recession, not just ratio difference...

why?, who knows?, i am sure the receptors are different, different DHT or other androgens ratio sensitive... just a lot we dont know about male pattern baldness and dutasteride

how are you sure that the receptors are different in the front compared to the top? we know that the follicles on the side are not sensitive to dht like the ones on the hairline, top, and crown, but that's a separate issues.

dutasteride is simply a stronger 5AR inhibitor than finasteride. it blocks dramatically more type 2 and half of type 1 when taken at the benign prostatic hyperplasia dosage. why would it accelerate frontal loss? it makes no sense.

a couple of posts? if this was a real problem we would hear more about it.

well, why do some guys have some hairline recession and stop...? i mean there has to be a difference in the receptors, or number of them, or different adrogen level... and the ratio that is different that is created by dutasteride vs finasteride could result in different male pattern baldness treatments...

listen, i have nothing against dutasteride, if finasteride was no longer working, or never did, i would be on it in a flash
