My Zix Experience - How B6 And Zinc Have Saved My Hair

I’ve taken the ethanol out of my mix now. It caused dryness but did help dissolve the zinc better.
I still use three zinc capsules(same brand as worm) and 150-200mg pure b6 powder from bulk supplements. For the past three weeks I have been using 3g of arginine per 60ml bottle. I also drink arginine most days I go to the gym. 3-5g

How are you dissolving arginine without ethanol ? I am having a hard time with it .

If you're having trouble dissolving arginine in water, you could try heating up the water first. It looks like arginine more soluble in water than ethanol anyway.

I was wondering about your comment the first time I mixed arginine in bottled water to drink. It dissolves like washing powder and tastes like it too. Arginine doesn’t leave residue. What brand are you using?

I am using Nutricost pure powder . About 2000 mg in a 60 ml bottle .

No I dont supplement with arginine . 3g in 60ml seems a little much to me .

Zix alone is probably not enough
I use LLLT + Zix which has stabilized my loss

Zix either works or it doesn't, just like the big 3. The KEY is NOT to mess with the formula. Do not add anything additional to it. This has been shown time and time again to reduce the effectiveness of the formula. Even Joe, the inventor of Zix, has said this countless times.

My advice: use the standard formula and give it 6 months. If it doesn't help, move on.

My opinion on the best standard formula after YEARS on these sites: 3, 220 mg zinc sulphate capsules (yes, it has to be zinc sulphate), 3, 50 mg B6 (yes it has to be p-5-p B6) capsules or crushed tablets, and 120 ml of distilled water. If you want to add a little ethanol to this like Worm does, then go for it. Keep the mix in an opaque container--apparently sunlight can affect the B6.

but the original formula is with 45ml of distilled water and 15 ml of ethanol isn't it?

No, that's Worm's original formula. The original from over a decade back was 120 ml of distilled water, preferably applied to a hydrated scalp. But as I said, adding ethanol is fine. Joe even recommends it for one of his other formulas.

so you think mixing the 660mg zinc sulphate and 150mg p5p with either 120ml or 60ml distilled water makes a difference?

in theory when you mix it with only 60ml the concentration could be too high...

No formula is definitive. Even the original creator has made several formulas over the years. Everyone got mad at me for trying to add in stuff but now we have discovered arginine helps the effect. Sooooo yeah the more stuff you stack the better it's gonna be
