im sure someone has asked this before, but i wonder if the gains from minoxidil could maintained or delayed in shedding by zix, nizoral, and zinc pyrthione shampoos if you stopped using minoxidil

How is it nonsense? This thread is rife with evidence that zix works to a significant degree. The farthest I'd go with finasteride is Topical finasteride because I can tell i'd be one of the ones to react negatively, even at half a dose. Perhaps, I could try finasteride for a bit, then I went i get the gains stop using it and switch to zix to maintain before the side effects creep up.

U gotta be f*****g kidding me. I take oral finasteride and deal with the sides. These hippie treatments are a joke and weak af. And who wants to spend time applying liquids on their scalp everyday for the rest of their lives anyways.

Is dealing with the sides worth it though? What's the point if i can't get an erection and grow man boobs. How do you weight the scales in your mind like before trying other viable alternatives like zix rather than writing off solutions you haven't tried.

I used zix abit but gave it up because its not a proven hairloss solution with real clinical studies like finasteride or minoxidil. I didnt wanna gamble with my hair. The only side effect I get from finasteride is less frequent morning erections and less force upon ejaculation. I can deal with it. Otherwise libido and hardness is exactly the same and absolutely no gyno issues. Didnt even have that on 2.5mg oral dutasteride.

only OP claims to have slowed his hairloss. From what I remember the formula does not even use enough water to dissolve half of the stuff and who knows how safe using this much topical zinc really is

But you didn't use zix long enough to know whether or not it worked, I understand not being willing to a risk but there are others who have and experienced results.
