There are already supplements that supposedly contain nad+ on the market. I tried it last year and i noticed zero effect. Especially on my hair:(

Ditto. I've been taking Niagen for months, and see no difference from it. Maybe a higher dose would have a more noticeable impact, but the stuff isn't cheap. It's almost 50 a month for 250mg. 2 to 3 grams should be safe, but then you're looking at $500 a month for something that may or may not work. I'll wait until there's solid evidence that it works in humans before I spend that kind of money on it.

IT ain't NAD+ it is precursor to NAD+ called NMN. Despite that it is questionable if it would do anything for Androgenetic Alopecia. However it certainly makes Androgenetic Alopecia more bearable once Tsuji or Tissuse comes to market and you would still look younger for your age.

Would also like to point out that the one that has shown fur growth in mice is not actually NAD+ or NMN it is entirely different protein for senescent cell removal.

Elysium has not yet released the results of their study.

I hope I'm wrong but I can't see this being a cure, or even a treatment for hairloss. Maybe it can slow down the process, which is great. However, hair that's already been miniaturized, I don't see it growing back after years of miniaturization due to NAD +.

The senescent cell removal sounds so intriguing and makes sense. I can't believe there's not a way this process can be accelerated naturally. Express removal of old cells. Out with the old in with the new.

Removal of old cells is called autophagy, there was a nobel prize for it in 2016. It's a process that accelerates after 16 hours of fasting, among other conditions.

Did you read the article?

It says that the study is completed, that there were no adverse outcomes, and that blood NAD+ levels are elevated, expected for an NAD supplement.

It says nothing about ageing-related outcomes.

Ok so you right that they haven't said specifics in their study about aging related outcomes but many of the other ones since 2013 have claimed this will help with ageing, by this they mean NAD+ or even just NR.

So i brought it up because they did their own study to tout their own sh*t but the only important part that mattered was that there was a proper dosage number and that it wouldn't kill you. They met their endpoints and I was taking the relatively celebrated concept that NAD+ helped with ageing on a cellular level with the fact that there was one product on market that was tested by name that had NAD+

I'm glad that a good study was done, that they're serious about it, and that we're likely to hear of the expected outcomes.

This might be beneficial somewhat.

But don't expect a miracle.
