I will do, still shedding though but it is early days so I'm not panicking... yet.

@can'tBeatNature I'm using Oestrogel from Thailand Pharmacy. My libido is noticeably lower so I guess that means it's working.

I'm not a fan of topicals, but Im willing to exempt Oestrogel. I'm actually back on oral finasteride because of shedding and crazy fast hair loss. I guess maybe it started working around the same time I took oral minoxidil?
I'm tempted to add in some oral estrogen at 1mg and just use a little of the gel on the hairline as I find some of it gets stuck in my hair.. How are things going for you Julian? Stabilised or anything?

the reason you're shedding hair is because the minoxidil is beginning/has already lost its effect. i wouldn't drop it cos you'll shed even more, but thats whats happening

If you read my second post I already said I wasn't going to drop it. I doubt it lost effectiveness with 4 months of use as charts show its the time frame of its peak effectiveness. I still got the extra body hair so it's definitely still doing something. I'm pretty sure my shedding is down to dropping finasteride which I've restarted now and more, I'm on topical estrogen and soon to add in oral estrogen too. Obviously if things go well with this new regimen it will be impossible to know if the finasteride was solely the cause of my shedding but I'm not bothered about that. I just want to regrow my hair lol.

Im aware of the studies, but theyre an aggregate of a lot of peoples results. Theres variations in the timeframes itll stop working. Trust me ive been on minoxidil foam and that got me all my hair back but stopped working after 7 months. A year later i switched to oral 10mg (like you) and it got me a boost again for four months until i started shedding again. Everyones body differs in response but if you want to know the reason why youre shedding its because your hair loss is outpacing the strength of the minoxidil. Your body hair is still there because it isnt androgen sensitive in the same way your hair is

Hey all, I was on finasteride for a whole year and only deteriorated fast at the front. I've been off it for maybe a month and a half now. I initially had good success with oral minoxidil but since dropping finasteride Ive lost my gains (I'm almost 5 months in)
I am so confused as I was losing my hair fast while on finasteride and I still am now that I'm off it with noticeable hair fall. I'm almost tempted to get back on it, but I'm afraid of a repeat of last time. I'm even considering dutasteride at this point. I'm so lost right now guys, any help?

Bro I'm experiencing fried and dry hair after quitting duta...did u experience the same after quitting the drug?
