hi everyone.

my hair started thinning since 16 years old , i'm 22 now and just started uneven proscar 5 days ago at around 1 mg a day . some questions , please help.

1: can aggressive pulling of hair cause permanent scalp damage ? i got in a few fights when i was around 14 and my opponent was someone that pulls people hair. fk him

2: can cold weather or electric fan blowing on your head cause hair thinning?
i live in a hot country but sometimes it gets really cold at night and i experience my hair thinning this few months when the night gets especially cold and i still use the fan .

3: can proscar treat acne? my previous acne scars are fading out and my body acne has improved.

4: how long does a single dose of proscar last? when i took it in the morning i experience low libido but in the afternoon the side effect seems to have disappear.

5: it's been 5 days but my scalp and hair doesnt seem to improve at all , it's still oily a few hours after i bath.

need some advice , please help and sorry for my bad english. thank you

If you are losing hair and going bald then it's not because someone pull your hair 8 ago. But who the hell pulls people hair anyway?

Cold water or electric fan blowing on your head can't cause thinning.

Finasteride decrease DHT so yes, it could help treat acne.

Finasteride stays in your blood for 4-6 hours, don't judge it's success by the side effects. Some people get low libido and some get no side effects at all.

Finasteride won't improve your scalp, it will improve your hair. Oily scalp has nothing to do with hair loss. It takes 6-12 months to see results with finasteride, you are only using it for 5 days so give it time. Shampooing with Nizoral would make your scalp feel great, you should start using it 2-3 times per week. The 2% version of Nizoral is better but in some countries requires prescription, it depends where you live.
