1/ NW1s do cheat on their g/f, NW7s don't
2/ Most girls don't want their b/f to cheat on her
3/ We can safely assume that the girls who don't mind being cheated on don't mind their b/f appearence either
conclusion: every single girl does want (or at least wouldn't mind) NW7s, and despises NW1s. most of them just don't know it yet. just make them realise it :woot:
NB: there is no generalization in this post, just truisms :innocent:
I suppose this your attempt at being satirical? :jackit: :bravo: ....
whatever ... :jackit:
Look, all I was saying is that if all things are equal between two guys, minus the hair issue, the bald guy is going to be considered "lesser" of a man than the NW1 with a full head of hair by most women for that reason alone.
Most guys (bald or not) are "average Joes" at best. No matter how hard they try to achieve great success in everything they do, they aren't going to succeed at most of those things. (if anything at all for some guys). Mediocre/average/common guys are all they are ever going to be...not rich, super buffed, handsome, famous, popular...etc...That's just reality.
Hence, not every bald guy can "over achieve" in order to "compensate" for their hairloss. To expect oneself to is not being realistic. It will only set you up for a fall, and it only leads to a self-destructive path of frustration and depression. Then, the guy tries again...and fails...eventually, he winds up getting to a point where he becomes severly depressed and considers himself a complete failure.
So, to attempt to become someone like Salman Rushdie, for example, (I'm just using him as an example because his pic was posted here), just to gain respect (as a bald man) is foolish from my POV.

You answered your own question.
dudemon said:But until then, you wouldn't understand so for you to come on here and start saying that "being bald isn't so bad...blah, blah, blah"...is pointless as we've heard it all before a million times already. Save it.

The case in point initially, Salman Rushtie; on looks alone he is on the low end of the attractive scale, *but*
He is wealthy.
Witty and intelligent.
Very well connected.
He is also not a Hollywood actor, but he was a well respected author even before the drama with the Satanic Verses which got him into the headlines (and probably helped getting him into the underwear of his attractive girlfriends since).
The recurring misconception on this forum is the massive over simplification about what makes humans attractive to each other.
So many guys (and some gals) think it's just about initial first impressions and shallow physical appearance, the reality is it's far more complex than than that, though in what way depends on the context and given circumstances (e.g. if you only look for mates in night clubs, it's obvious why your views on human attraction are based on looks alone).
(All that aside, I'm currently single... go figure lol)
dudemon said:However, to put "expectations" on yourself to become something you are not (i.e. - "Salman Rushdie") in order to "over compensate" is only going to lead most guys down a path of self-destruction and frustration.
That's all I'm saying.

Ever since I started shaving my head I have lost a lot of weight and I take a lot more pride in how I look without a shirt. What's wrong with compensating?
